Island Nations of the Pacific gathered in Australia to call for deep cuts in global carbon emissions.
At the 16-nation forum, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said islands are the least responsible for climate change, but will bear the brunt of its ill effects from melting ice caps and rising sea levels.
