Lawmakers Hope to Shut Down Alaska Bay Drilling

A group of lawmakers wants to shut down all oil and gas drilling off the Alaskan coast - 70 House members are asking Interior Department secretary Ken Salazar to close oil and gas drilling in the Arctic Ocean and Bristol Bay.

They are asking the Interior to set aside a five-year oil and gas leasing plan from the Bush administration until a scientific analysis...
