The world's largest nuclear generator posted better than expected profits for 2009 and says 2010 will be even better. Electricité de France SA, or EDF, reported 2009 profits of $23 billion, a 12 percent boost that was fueled mainly by its acquisition of British Energy, the U.K. nuclear operator.
