Study: Cape Wind Would Cut New England Power Costs

A study funded by the developer of the proposed Cape Wind project on Nantucket Sound contends the wind farm would drive down New England's wholesale electric costs by $4.6 billion over 25 years.

The study by Charles River Associates concludes that if the project is built as planned, utilities in the region would save an average of $185 million...
